The Airport

After anxiously awaiting for the day to come, it was finally time to get on a plane and head to the UK. My mother took me to the airport three hours early as Dr. Londino had instructed. I didn’t know where to go exactly, but I ran into Art and Gina, and together we wandered aimlessly until we finally found our group. We checked in and got our boarding pass and waited again to go thru security. After that we didn’t have anything to do so we walked around the airport and looked at a few shops. Once I realized how much longer we had to wait to get on the plane, I decided to go to the Brooklyn Bar to get a beer. Finally we boarded the plane. It was very tiny. The dinner looked pretty bad so I didn’t eat it. I just had some cookies. The movie was Martian Child with John Cusak and Amanda Peet, but I didn’t watch it. Mainly I tried to listen to/watch my ipod and read Brett Easton Ellis’ “American Psycho”. I tried to sleep but it was too uncomfortable. Finally we landed, and I was ready for a fresh pint of Guinness.
